One of the reasons some see gains by shorting the intake, is because of the small AEM tubbing. Which if larger would yeild better results for FI.

I'm going to go with a larger than AEM CAI. We'll see what happends.

    Question

If I am not mistaken from other threads that I have read....one of the things that make the AEM better than the rest is the materials that AEM uses on it's intake?

Another thing that I remember is the way that thing is made. It's not like the rest of the other intakes.

    Opinions???

Isn't it just aluminum? And what do you mean by "the way that thing is made?" I don't follow what you are saying.

Just put the AEM CAI on my ITR...it is 3", are the ones for the GSR's smaller in diameter? I was thinking of copying this one for the SC GSR...

Yes Zeus, the GSR tubing is smaller than the "R" from AEM... on FI Integra's, I like to modify the "R" tube. Also, don't forget to remove your pass. side bumper lense when you are at the track... this is good for a tenth or so.
